It’s not a death penalty case or even one in which he would serve prison time. How about we judge the action then apply mercy as warranted in the sentencing part of the case?

Our system of fair voting for representative government is the only thing that keeps us safe from devastating civil war.

Tampering with that system is one of the most serious crimes imaginable.
