“Begs the question, then why bother having a news conference?”
Simply because if they didn’t hold a news conference, you, and millions of others, would be asking “Why aren’t they holding a news conference? What are they hiding?”
It takes a news conference to say, “We can’t provide any details until the suspect is extradited?”
??
Would that not be better than repeating, “Sorry, I can’t answer that”, over and over and over for 20 minutes?
