Holly Matkin 20 hours ago Atlanta, GA – A Fulton County sheriff’s deputy was found fatally shot inside a vehicle early Thursday morning.

The unidentified deputy’s body was discovered in the driver’s seat of a silver car that had been involved in a crash on Bolton Road Northwest, WAGA reported.

Investigators said the crash potentially involved a second vehicle that fled the scene, WAGA reported.

Police said they do not have a description of a second vehicle or of the gunman.

Officials confirmed the deceased victim was a young man who served with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO), but his name has not been released, WAGA reported.

It is unclear if he was shot before or after the crash.

Sounds odd. A cop at 0430, not on duty, gets shot in his car.
Sounds like a hit.

For disclosure, I am not a cop and have solved zero crimes in my life…

Maybe he was the cop used to ‘secure’ ballots between Runbeck and MTEC that didn’t happen. He won’t be testifying now.

Bolton Rd and I285 at 4:30 AM is a lonely place. A great place for a hit.

I would imagine the police know more than they are releasing.
(As they should)
