LOL! Even if Trump decided just not to run at all, we’d get a democrat. Trump’s the only Republican with enough of a national following to even have a change of overcoming the Dem’s “ballot harvesting” tactics. And even for him, it’s only a longshot.

In 2016 the establishment didn’t take him seriously soon enough to stop him. This time he needs to intimidate enough of them to let the voters decide. I don’t think it will work, but time will tell. The establishment is pining for Mitt Romney to run again.
