About the carbs, I completely agree. When I add even a few extra carbs, my weight starts shooting back up.
I added some low carb tortillas to my diet last year and when I went to the doctor (and had a blood test) my cholesterol and blood pressure had climbed back into dangerous territory. Those tortillas were so tasty, but I think they were mislabeled about their being low carb. I cut them out of my diet and in my next appointment, cholesterol and BP were back under control.
Yeah. Tortillas! They look so innocent, but are pretty bad. I buy Keto hot dog and hamburger buns, but can’t seem to find just Keto bread.
I love love love potatoes.
I love love pasta.
I like rice.
But they’re pretty much out of my diet now. (Is life worth living, really? LOL!)
Now that the holidays are over, I can more easily get back on track.
The interesting thing is that after six months of no carb, followed by six months of low carb, my blood panel was the worst it’s been in my life! When I saw it I had to laugh.
