Yep, the West will need to develop its military industry base virtually from scratch, while Russia, instead, kept theirs intact...cost Russia quite a bit over the years, but rather than make an excuse such as ‘a protracted ground war will never happen’, they just did what we should have also done.
So I estimate late 2024, at best (if all our extended supply lines through), before we can step up production significantly. I speculate that our masters in DC are just now figuring that out.
No cost is too high to defend our 58th state.
