Famous German virologist Christian Drosten believes the coronavirus pandemic has ended and COVID-19 is now an endemic disease. And Justice Minister Marco Buschmann called for the last restrictive measures to be lifted.
The COVID-19 pandemic can be considered over because it is now an endemic disease, the German virologist Dr. Christian Drosten told the Tagesspiegel newspaper.
"We are experiencing the first endemic wave with Sars-CoV-2 this winter; in my estimation the pandemic is over," the head of virology at Berlin's Charité University Hospital said, referring to the coronavirus behind the global pandemic.
After this winter, the immunity in the population would be so broad and resilient that the virus stood little chance in the summer, Drosten said in comments published on Monday.

A natural event occurs either randomly, chaotically, cyclically or intentionally. The mathematics of this pandemic do not follow random (Gaussian), nonlinear dynamic or cyclic calculations.
One of my clients has Covid again for the 3rd time. Or so he claims anyway. Everyone who is sick says they have covid. I ask them all if they took a test and they all say yes but I think most of them lie about the test.
I have a cough. Had it for a few days now. No other symptoms. Could be anything, including breathing too much heated air.

It has LONG SINCE BEEN OVER as a pandemic and settled into endemic status.
And FROM NOW TILL DOOMSDAY we will see a never ending series of new variants replacing old variants that have run their course. BORING!

How do you define a pandemic? To me, that was when thousands of people were dying suddenly in New York City and Lombardy, Italy. In other places, it became endemic. But we didn't lose control of the virus like you saw in March 2020 in New York City. We know that if you are young, you are not really at risk from the virus but Dr. Fauci and CDC/NIH was never honest with us. Governors Kemp and DeSantis found that out and reopened their states early.
