Moscow Demands Ukraine Surrender or Face Battlefield ‘Elimination’
Breitbart ^ | 12/27/2022 | Simon Kent

Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov accused Ukraine and its western allies of trying to destroy his country late Monday night, demanding Kyiv accept Moscow’s prescription for ending the war or be “eliminated” on the battlefield.

Reuters reports Lavrov’s comments came against a backdrop of continued heavy fighting in eastern Ukraine and followed Russian President Vladimir Putin hinting he was open to negotiations, but only on Moscow’s terms.

Putin said on Sunday the Kremlin was “ready to negotiate with everyone involved about acceptable solutions” while blaming Kyiv for the lack of diplomatic progress so far.

There is no such thing as ‘US secret projects’ in Ukraine - just internet speculation and vague reports all of which are part of the Russian propaganda campaign from the start.

Millions of Ukraine men of fighting age fled the country in the past couple of years.

You have been brainwashed by the Mockingbird Media.

“Did you catch the predictions by Medvedev yesterday, one being that a new “Fourth Reich” will form between Germany, Poland, and a few other neighbors, that would then wage war against France, and possibly Britian?”

Weird prediction, but I do suspect that Germany feels like they’re being kicked around by West, big time, and when Germans get angry about something...

“He also predicted a US civil war, however, which I don’t actually believe we’re anywhere actually near, as sad as that might make some.”

Agree, but probably for different reasons. The conditions for civil war do exist here, given that our elections are no longer considered fair by half the country, and the other half has no interest in trying to address these concerns. The problem is outside help would be needed by the ‘rebels’, and this is due to the tremendous power now concentrated in DC, where a few keystrokes there will empty bank accounts, cut off communications, cut off utilities, and soon disable cars from operating. So, yea, maybe some people will give it a shot, but DC will have no problem snuffing them out (just as Canada used only a tiny bit of their power to bring the truckers to heel). Hell, I’d be happy to even see a Tea Party protest, but people are too scared to even do that.

"Triggering NATO response?" Ukraine is not a member of NATO. No NATO State with nuclear weapons would risk annihilation over the use of tactical nukes in Ukraine, unless the person in charge was absolutely demented... oh, wait...

You are forgetting the Budapest Memorandum. The U.S. and Britain, made promises to Ukraine. No nuclear power will ever give up its nukes in the future if the world permits Ukraine to be nuked without a severe response. The world is watching.

“Putin said on Sunday the Kremlin was “ready to negotiate with everyone involved about acceptable solutions.”

The solution is simple. Putin recalls his army back behind the Russian border. Ukraine presents him with the bill for all the damage caused INCLUDING very nickel of American money given to Ukraine.

Payment will be accepted in oil, gas, diamonds, and/or gold and silver.

Like all there other junk Russian satellites are just more junk but in space.

Russia retreats where there is no other option or their troops panic. Satellites have nothing to do with it.

Some day Ukraine will “negotiate” and end to this “special operation”. But their country will be a parking lot and all their men will be dead. Zelensky will get out of the country while he can. Some other crook will take over and the US taxpayer will spend billions rebuilding what the country.

I think you miss read what I wrote.
I said the “fallout of the nuclear explosion would contaminate large part of Europe.” That is evidently similar to an indirect attack on Nato. Nuclear fallout coming with the winds over EU/NATO has the same disastrous effect as a “dirty nuke”.

The rule is if Nato is hit by the effect of such human life destructive nuclear winds - it triggers NATO’s response. NATO’S response could be conventional though.
But still, the response would be certain.

They claim they have developed a new generation of micro nukes to complement their inventory of strategic nuclear weapons

How do you know what size nuclear weapon the Russians have developed or are you talking through your hat?

I know it may difficult for some of us Westerners to understand, but Putin simply wants the Ukrainian nation to be erased. He has repeatedly said that the Ukrainians are a part of the Russian nation, in other words, the Ukrainian nation doesn’t exist as a separate entity. What are the Ukrainians supposed to do if Putin wants to destoy them as a nation?

No, kid. I’ve been tracking this through Joint Staff sources since day one. Your “sources” are separated from reality by a Grand Canyon-sized gap.

But hey… believe what you will. And please keep posting this laughable stuff. It’s good entertainment.

Well... most of those “Freepers” who supports Putin are Russians.
So evidently they will not support Zelensky.

"The world is watching?" How nice. If I remember correctly, Iran signed the Non-Proliferation Treaty, and "the world is watching" that country build nuclear weapons with no effective response whatsoever...

Exactly, that what I explained.
Contaminating EU/NATO with nuclear fallout is an act of war.

Meanwhile, in the real world, Russia is the country that no other country trusts because they have broken every agreement they ever made, just about.

They scrupulously honored the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact, right up to the very last minute.

WOW, even the loyal Lavrov has a limit?

Lavrov is loyal to Russia, but probably not to Putin personally. He has long been known to not be in Putin’s inner circle and probably continues to serve as FM as a way to help control Putin’s excesses and delusions of grandeur for both himself and the 2-bit country he leads. At some point, Lavrov will have to make a choice - continue to support the self-destruction of his country or get out of the game. Maybe he now calculates that publicly undermining Putin’s announcement of being open to negotiations by making crazy threats will get him fired, allowing him to retire, which he has long wanted to do.

The response need not be nuclear. Just close the Danish and Turkish straits. Russia’s economy would collapse.

Both sides sound like absolute rednecks. Two dudes who have had wayyy too much vodka and want to take it outside and show the other who is boss. .

Meanwhile *our* profligate leaders keep waving their little Ukranian flags, pissing away America's money, and taunting a near dead Putin into doing something drastic.
