Pity no business owners thought to stay in their store with lots of firepower on hand to lethally deal with looters.

Clearly they need more gun control to further protect the looters from the innocent citizens being victimized. It is New York, after all. It’s even Buffalo. More gun control is always the answer.

It’s a lawless society... failure to arrest or prosecute criminals.

Albany was also well aware of the plow driver shortage caused by the vaxx mandate.
Albany doesn’t care.

As always, the "usual suspects" who take ANY opportunity for free stuff.....it's not the normal family that is desperate for food when stores were closed.
NEVER do they report the TRUTH about the culture of the inner-city tribal parasites...NEVER!

27 dead - sort of like Katrina without the blame

They re-elected Hochul and other Democrats, so apparently they are okay with it and want the culture to continue this level of decay.
Yep. The candidate who openly admitted she didn’t understand the concern about crime.

i bet she is as knowledgeable about what to do, as Blanco was about Hurricane Katrina.

No, Dominion did. Erie, Albany and The Five Boroughs are the only areas in NY which do not have “Dominion Scanners.” The two that were in my polling place had SEVEN WiFi connections. We had better get RID of them.

Red States need to pass Laws where protection of personal property during a State of Emergency means it's legal to use deadly force on looters.....
Of course, some bought-and-paid-for Judge will just Rule "disparate impact on minorities", as if it's justified to loot in Emergency situations.
I believe vigilante justice is in our future, as people can no longer depend on the Law or Justice Dept., etc. to penalize law-breakers. This will accomplish the natural Mother Nature process of survival of the fittest/prepared.

or the story could be grossly exaggerated as in a bunch of unpoliced undisciplined punks break some windows in the ghetto and it turns into " a major riot breaks out" There are videos on Twitter with looters and videos with gunfire attributed to "Arab" store owners.

It sounds like criminals with handguns fired on owners who caught them and the owners responded with long arms.

I remember hearing about the 1995 Chicago heat wave.
The unspoken tragedy is why so many people had bars on the windows and doors, and didn’t even open windows and doors to try to cool off. Most of the deaths happened in the bad neighborhoods, where people were afraid of the youth gangs and assorted criminals. So they kept doors and windows shut and homes and apartments became ovens. But that aspect of the problem is seldom talked about.

Laws and the courts exist in part to protect the obviously guilty from vigilantes.
The existence of just laws and just courts is the main reason people do not settle matters themselves.
We do not have just laws or just courts... therefore.. chaos.
