Not safe for “Kings english” ears.
Sub -Saharan IQ, impulsiveness, sullen, no father figure, permissive (liberal) society....
I have great uncles that told all my cousins, "If you want to eat, vote Democrat".
Those 30-40 year old MEN now still vote for democrat and I give them hell at deer camp. I always reply, "If you want to be FREE vote Republican or Libertarian".
Democrats are the party of slavery and communism.
You are right about demoncraps. I think I read somewhere the republicans were formed as an anti-slavery party.
Nope, it’s widespread looting. There are plenty of videos of it on Reddit.
Me too. It was 68 here today. Rain for Friday and Saturday. Sunday and Monday are supposed to be 70 & 71!!! Holy wow!! I got out and got the rest of the leaves and pine kneels up. I transplanted this 2-foot small pine tree from out of the edge of the woods out into the yard back in like 2008, That darn thing has grown to be at least forty feet tall now. Huge tree.
61 deg. F here at 10 pm. That’s a degree from a 90 deg. swing in apparent temperature in under a week. My daughter’s chickens (or are they mine now, since I do most of the care?) are happy too! Lots of earthworms came up once the ground thawed (and we got a little rain.)
I’m just hoping the severe stuff in the forecast for next week Mon. or so isn’t too rough. In La Nina years we usually get a pretty significant severe weather event (t-storms and / or tornados) in winter OR... A damaging ice storm.
No, not sarcasm. I was a science major and pay attention to things. A friend lives in upstate New York, and we have been discussing Lake Effect storms for several decades. In addition to average annual temperature increases over the decades, there have been changes in the Jet Stream’s path. The recent cold in our south has been caused by a deep dip in the Jet Stream. Here is what Google said when I asked if Lake Effect snow stops once the Great Lakes are frozen over.
Image result for In New York does lake effect snow occur after the great lakes freeze over?
Once a lake freezes over, the source of warmth and moisture is lost, making it much more difficult for lake-effect snow to develop. Lake Ontario is the deepest Great Lake, and thus, it does not completely freeze over late in the winter like some of the other lakes can. Nov 18, 2022

No wypipo.
I’ve seen a handful of video clips of the “looting” (aka “alt-capitalism”) and keep asking the simple question:
Where are all the wypipo?
Okay, let's talk credentials.
I was born on the eastern shores of Lake Ontario. I went to college and initially majored in meteorology at a college on the south shore of Lake Ontario. I've experienced many a lake effect snow storm.

Nope. The Jet Stream fluctuates. What the jet stream did last week has occasionally happened before, for decades.

Yes, lake effect does stop once the lake freezes over. The winter of 77/78 comes to mind. Lot's of lake effect t snow through January and then very little lake effect after.

This longer term warming trend will delay the freeze-over of Lake Erie. Some really impressive weather radar earlier in the season showing a lake effect snow band starting around Long Point and tailing off in the middle of Lake Ontario.
Good stuff. Thanks.
sort of like bow hunting season or barbless hook rules
