Jeez, I’m 49 and we have never had 10 below in Minnesota in my lifetime. I’m not sure how to approach this.
When I spent two winters in St. Paul the car windshield wouldn’t even bother frosting over until about 15 or 20 below.
We ate dinner with friends at a fine restaurant last night. It was -4 outside while we were dining.
My advice to you is do what the guy at the next table did — wear shorts. I kid you not. During dinner, the guy was wearing cut-off jeans with bare legs from the knees down. I was so shocked by the sight that I forgot to look for Birkenstocks on his feet. I wonder if he lost a bet.
We were seated not far from the front door and I swear the restaurant wasn’t much warmer than that -4.
