In 2009 the Obama administration decided to abandon a missile defense system initiative that would have protected Eastern Europe. The decision to shift the focus away from defending Eastern Europe was apparently made to get Russia on board regarding discussions of Iran’s nuclear program.

The Russians and Iranians have been in bed together with this from day one because the Russians see Iran as a useful anti-U.S. regional power.

Exactly where are the U.S. and China in Ezekiel? I think 'ol Zeke may have forgotten to mention them.

Also, our fannies don't have to cash anything. In this war, the people we are supporting are more than willing to do all the fighting themselves. So literally, it's just actual checks that must be cashed.

Losing? The only two one of those even nominally on our side has been Egypt. India has always played the middle and always will because of China. As for the rest of them...why would we want them at all?
