There is no justice in this world. Hillary, Comey, McCabe, Brennan, Clapper, Strzok, Page, et al. will all get away with their dastardly deeds, just like Obama and Lois Lerner. My only consolation is that there eventually will be justice in the next world. That is one of the few things which help me maintain my sanity.

I imagine most people join the FBI to be the good guys, and that most still are. It is even likely that many or most of the folks doing this work thought they were doing the right thing.

Regarding the first sentence - he's being overly generous. Perhaps 'some' are good guys (although I lean more to 'few'), but not most.
Regarding the second sentence - I am sure that most of the FIBers think they are doing the 'right thing'. I'm sure most of the Gestapo and Stasi agents also believed they were doing the right thing. All of Washington DC lives in a bubble where their god is the Big State - and they will do anything to defend it. America and the Constitution be damned.

Id like to think that too......but given what we now know about the corrupt higher ups and 8 yrs under Obama I would have to assume that any conservative “good guys” have been weeded out or farmed out to meaningless dead-end jobs, and anyone applying today wouldn't make the cut....I assume the exam and background check would assure that as they make the rules and they don't want any flys in their ointment now...

The FBI self-consciously interfered in the 2020 election in order to stack the deck, hoping to ensure that the preferred candidate of its leadership won the election.

And they will do it again. So they're no different than the FSB in Russia. What are we going to do about it? Nothing (other than to b**** on Free Republic but if we are influential and we get millions of views, the FBI will ask us to remove certain posts but for now we are off their radar)
