I spoke yesterday with a Russian friend who told me that three of his draft-age nephews have escaped and are hiding in Mongolia in fear of being sent to the front. They are being cared for by family members, but they are frightened and have nowhere else to go.
My own youngest will be draft age next year.
We need to get the hell out of this before it comes to our doorstep. At some point, our proxy war will become a direct conflict. Russia will decide to cut out the middleman...
When was the last time that happened? It didn't happen in Vietnam, it didn't happen in Afghanistan, it didn't happen in Iraq, and it didn't happen in Afghanistan (again).

Right always wins (when America gets involved) Look what it did in Serbia? Ukraine wins every battle, every Russian Tank is gone, Russian soldiers are crying for mercy and surrendering in huge numbers. So many that Ukraine can’t feed them all and are forced to shoot them. They welcome death as better than life in Putin’s Russian Gulag. When Ukraine invaded Russia in a few weeks they will be greeted as liberators bringing Democracy (and American Dollars) to backward beaten Russia. The Parade in Moscow will be great, better than Hitler’s troops marching into Paris in 1940. Its just a few days, weeks away—as long as America sends more Billions!
