Instead of blending in with the Democrats and making it indistinguishable.Hogan did not run for re-election because of term limits. The Republican candidate was Dan Cox, a conservative Trump supporter who was endorsed by DJT. Cox is definitely not a member of the uni-party, and he lost the election because of his conservative credentials.

I would say that Hogan did the best he could with a state house dominated by Dems. But any aspirations he has for national office are a pipe dream. He's too milque toast. Maybe The Senate. Maybe.
