I know Americans don’t think about these things, but our support for Ukraine basically puts us at war with Russia (via proxy). I live within a dozen miles of NYC, and in WWI there were attacks by saboteurs to stop the flow of American weapons to Britain within a few miles from my home (Black Tom Island in Jersey City NJ and the Canadian Car and Foundry Company in Lyndhurst NJ). The saboteurs understood we were violating neutrality by arming Britain, and sending munitions to them on passenger ships.
I hope nobody does that here again...
