Members of the Texas National Guard are placing razor wire at a stretch of the U.S.-Mexico border in preparation for a potential migrant surge if a controversial immigration order is lifted.

Bill Melugin, a national correspondent for Fox News, shared a video on Twitter Tuesday showing where the Texas National Guard had laid the razor wire and set up a line of Humvees...

As cities on the Texas-Mexico border continue preparing for a possible influx of migrants and Title 42 remains in limbo, a shallow spot in the Rio Grande where thousands have recently crossed became the scene of a standoff Monday.

It's entire families coming over ...in laws, grandchildren, uncles aunts etc....generations flooding for Monica who has one family member in NY City. So One family member in the US will bring ntire generations of families in.

Monica, who didn’t want to use her last name, said she can’t afford plane tickets to New York — where her son-in-law lives — so they are stuck in El Paso.
