The Republican “Leaders” do not want anyone else. They want things to go back to pre Trump when the Democrat Party ran things and the Republicans were the whipping boys/girls of the Democrats. And all the Republicans had to do was take a spanking and count their money. In the History of Mankind, there was never a more gutless or ball less organization than the Republican Political Party.

PLUS - no it wouldn't. A new MAGA party would draw members from GOP, Dems, and Independents. Remember Trump got >81 million ACTUAL votes (probably a lot more-they shifted 15% to Bi-duhhhh-n)
There are only 31 million people registered as GOP.
There are plenty of dems tired of the dems radical views, too.
