If reparations are ever enacted it will set race relations back to the level it was prior to the civil rights movement of the 60’s. I have empathy for what blacks went through in this country and think they are still psychologically damaged today because of that history, but this is definitely not the way to set things straight. It will do nothing but breed resentment against black people (and not just from whites), and further fractionalize this country racially.
