I would guess around 2000, 10% of employees at FBI were Republican. Today? I bet it’s 1%. I don’t have the data. Just an educated guess. No patriotic American is going to want to work for FBI today. So they are going to attract Democrats. As a result, we are having problems like this.

It is highly dangerous to allow one ethnic or political party’s group to control any law enforcement.
Blacks will quickly tell how they hated the pre-1970s city police forces with almost no black faces in uniform. Regardless of the good attitudes of white police.
In the European immigration era (1840-1960s or so) many of the Irish went into police work including a large majority of the newly formed NY Police Department. Many were rivals of Italians and hated them, who then returned the attitude to them.
Frank Sinatra as a boy was walking on the sidewalk in his good clothes. Two Irish cops drove slowly up and made some remarks about “Hey (slur) you look too good in that suit. Much too good. Where’d a (slur) like you think you were going dressed up?”
They got out of the car and each one pushed, pulled and slapped him a few times to terrify him and then knocked him down on the sidewalk and ripped his clothes and kicked him.
When he got home his mother was furious “How did you get into a fight with them and ruin your good clothes. It’s your fault.”
