COLUMBUS, Ga. (AP) — Five people who pleaded guilty to defrauding $12 million in federal student aid by enrolling students into a theology school without requiring classwork were sentenced Thursday in Georgia to prison terms ranging from three to nine years.

I checked out that link. What a disappointment. From what I could tell, all they offer is a minister’s credentials.

This is exactly what the University of North Carolina did to keep its star athletes eligible for championships. No problems there.
Why are the Federals providing money to a religious school in the first place? That is a direct violation of the 1st Amendment.
