How would people react if they were asked to contribute to someone’s personal slush fund instead of a fund to combat climate change? After all, if they contribute, that’s likely where that money is going. It sure won’t change the climate.
Consider this: if there were a fund that could actually be used in such a way that would change the climate, people would be contributing eternally, & there’s enough of that going on already.
