A bit OT
Recently I’ve been hearing ads on the radio promoting “equal rights” for the citizens of DC.
No politician’s names are mentioned but the call is for citizens to contact their Sens and Reps to push this.
ICBW, but I see this as another attempt at DC statehood.
Is there a bill pending that involves this?
I live relatively close to DC and though the small fm “classic rock” station I listen to is barely able to keep up with local news, this ad comes out many times each day. Is it just my proximity to DC (170 mi direct...270 over the road) or are folks around the nation getting this plea also?
