Against tremendous odds, Kari Lake, the Republican gubernatorial candidate in Arizona in the last midterm, has won a small victory in the courts in her lawsuit against the outcome of the Arizona governor's race.
It was definitely a surprise, and a welcome first step towards getting to the bottom of what appears to have been a positively filthy rigged election.
According to the Washington Examiner:
A judge in Maricopa County, Arizona, has approved Republican Kari Lake's requests to inspect some ballots before the trial in her challenge to the Arizona gubernatorial race results.
Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson issued a ruling Thursday that approved three of Lake's four demands for inspecting random ballots from the county.
The three types of ballots Thompson approved Lake's team to review included 50 random "ballot-on-demand" printed ballots that were cast on Election Day, 50 random early ballots cast from "six separate Maricopa County batches," and 50 random ballot-on-demand printed ballots that were marked as spoiled. Lake's request to inspect 50 random early ballots from ballot envelopes was denied due to state law, per the judge.
I don't know what she will find, but the fact that her lawyers wanted to look at these things suggests that they already know that there was something there to find.
The real "tell" though, came from the other side, which had a complete cow about the decision, fighting tooth and nail to keep the judge from allowing it.
Here's their nasty toned objection, as reported by the rather biased AZCentral, which slants its report to favor the Democrats:

she did not debate because she knew the fix was in.
.
What if they just cherry pick? There’s so many ways to derail this.
Then the ‘tards can say “Look, we bent over backwards for you! We even let you look at some of the evidence! And you didn’t find nuthin’”.
Then I’ll have to hear from FRolks for the rest of my life telling me I’m a retarded conspiracy theorist for thinking Democrats would even THINK of doing such a thing in the institution of voting in this country. By God, they are paragons of civic virtue when it comes to voting, don’t you know!
Now, we just need to vote harder. Get to work keyboard commando, or we won’t win next time! Better candidates FFS! What did you think was going to happen if you ran anyone short of Jesus himself! You should have expected this... did you see his tie?
Sadly, I find no fault with your statement. In this case in Arizona I think you are correct. The random ballot draw should be witnessed.
The unescorted moving trucks going totally out of observation to the warehouses for counting simply calls into question everything about Arizona.
I even have agree with your stance on the debate
Damn it, I hate it when I agree with you
Have a wonderful night. Merry Christmas.
Go get em Kari!
Can’t wait to see exactly how “random” the sampling is
Follow the link the source, and the link therein to the AZCentral piece it qoutes. In that there is a link to what Hobbs et al filed as their motion to dismiss Lake’s suit. I’m not a lawyer, but it seemed to me like technical hand waving. Not contesting Lake’s arguments so much as saying they don’t matter anyway. Par for Hobbs’s appearances on the campaign trail and debate stage! And for that matter her required appearance at Thursday’s hearing. Lake’s response was to have been filed today, but I haven’t seen or heard of it yet. I hope and pray the judge is influenced by how seriously Team Hobbs is taking all of this and responds as that deserves!
One of the things I’ve found so amazing about the whole thing, from the campaign to now, is seeing video of their respective campaign stops/rallies.
Kari Lake does one and there are people everywhere.
Hobbs does one at a senior citizen center and most times there is more press than folks sitting in the audience, kind of like a Biden campaign stop.
The Left hates Christ. He’d never win.
We all know what going on, the criminals are protected
“she did not debate because she knew the fix was in.”
Given the process and the result, this would seem to be a simple application of Occam’s Razor.
“Merry Christmas.”
Thanks, you as well!
Oral arguments on Katie Hobbs motion to dismiss the case are scheduled for today, December 19.
If the case is not dismissed, the trial is scheduled for December 21 and 22.
