Putin gave up with the Minsk Accords of 2015, by factually betraying the Donbas resistance which fought and won its independence from Ukraine and wanted to join Russia.
He denied their goals and forced them back into Ukraine for Ukriane’s obligation to grant them equal rights which never took place.
Ukraine was hell bent on killing them and humiliating Putin this way.
You guys blew too many chances, betting on impossible, to provoke and win the war with Russia. The more you drag, the worse is the outcome.
