I bought a cassette version of “Wally Rap” in 1985.

Wally George hosted Hot Seat, a show on KDOC, an ultra-high frequency (UHF) TV station in Anaheim, Calif. on Saturday nights. The show consisted of interviews that he did with liberals or leftists. Sometimes they would get rowdy and knock down parts of the set. But even if they behaved themselves, guests eventually say something that riled Wally and then be kicked out of the studio, escorted by security guards as the audience cheered and chanted, “Wally! Wally! Wally!”

In those days before Fox News and Newsmax, Wally hosted the only conservative show on TV.

Aaaaaaah, so that’s how you heard about him. I guess knowledge of him and his show never made it over here to the east side of the country.
That was pretty good.
