Nobody is claiming JFK couldn't have been shot from that location. What we are claiming is that preponderance of evidence points to multiple shooters and Oswald (who actually liked Kennedy) is a convenient scapegoat.
Possibly because he was at the location and left shortly after JFK was shot; more likely because digging any further would be highly inconvenient for a lot of well-connected people.

That isn’t true either. That’s why these discussions are so tedious, all sorts of untruths half truths or whole lies get repeated over and over, by people selling books. There is quite a lot of overlap with the UFO people and JFK, it’s a racket.
Anyhoo shooting a bolt action rifle at a target a few hundred feet away is no big deal. Especially for a Marine Corps vet.
There are several witnesses interviewed that day within minutes who heard and saw Oswald shooting from the school book building. One fellow observing directly below from the 5th floor even felt dust falling on him from above as the shots rang out, and said he clearly heard the ejected cases hitting the floor.
