Could it be that mRNA vaccines work safely (however ineffectively) so long as all of the elements are of the correct chirality, but cause damage when contaminated with elements of opposite chirality?

Yes. I researched the vaccines for quite some time. The variation among batches of Covid 'vaccines' is not explained away because it's constant throughout production in what should be an extremely controlled process. Dr. Michael Yeadon, formerly work for Pfizer as the Chief of Science for the Allergy and Infectiouos diseases division wrote to assure the public there's no way the extreme variation in production had any 'accidental' origin but could only be intentional.
There are no doubt production errors and there are documented instances of 'vaccine' vials left out of refrigeration too long to remain 'active'.
There are no instances proving the vaccine 'works' and there never has been. For example, the test period of the trials was too short to be meaninful - people were tested a few months but no records kept of efficacy after the trial period.
Pfizer vaccine trials showed more people died in the vaccine group than died in the unvaccinated group.
Consistently over all terrain (content) the vaccines are 'losers' in countless ways and that's before you look at the way they were forced on the public like never before, in this instance for a disease the CDC prevented doctors from treating, for an illness that is like the flu.
I'm sorry, there's just no way these were intended to function. Filings from Pfizer and Moderna show they did not prevent illness or transmission - these are clear statements made in the FDA documentation.
I studied the history of the mRNA platform and found that all prior trials failed to make it past animal studies because the animals sickened and usually died.
They injected animals, waited a few weeks, tested the animals and found the desired anitbody response, then exposed the animals to the viruses they were testing, and then all the animals died because their immune systems attacked their own bodies. mRNA was never a good strategy - blow mRNA through the circulatory system letting it enter cells in the heart, lungs, liver, ovaries etc. and then have them tell the cells to produce spike proteins, which function like targets on the cells where the mRNA went. So now you have immune system targets all over your heart, lungs, liver etc. ANy illness can trigger your body to attack those targets on your vital organs, and not the illness itself.
When your own immune system is attacking the vital organs, the symptoms can be clinically identical to the body's immune response to Covid. So running nose, fever, growing congestion, exhaustion etc. which they still won't treat with effective medicines (HCQ, Ivermectin etc.) from vaccine harm will be diagnosed as Covid. When some patients die, the CDC will insist we need more vaccines.

One possibility I heard was if the shot is accidentally injected into a vein, then the mRNA circulates throughout the body and will find its way into various cells, including the heart, lungs, reproductive organs. it will then instruct the cells it attaches to to begin replicating the spike protein.
The body senses these cells as “infected”, and mounts an immune response. Part of the standard immune response is for the body to send out killer T-cells to destroy any cells identified as infected. This is all fine if the shot was inter muscular; those cells will repair themselves. However, some cells in the body never fully regenerate from damage; heart tissue being one. The heart instead scars over the injury, which can reduce functionality.
So it may be a crap shoot. get an inter muscular injection and there is no problem. Hit a vein and depending on where the mRNA circulates and lands, there could be big problems.
