The people who had slaves are dead. Their guilt was not passed on through the genes. The guilt did not find a way to mysteriously jump from the slaveholders to the grandkids of people who immigrated into this country in the late 1800s.
The dems know that national reparations won’t happen, so they’re implementing it in far left states.
What’s the end game in all this? Total collapse of the USA, which is what they have been wanting for a long time, and its replacement by a totalitarian dictatorship.

The wealth of the South was totally destroyed during the Civil War. Every state of the South was bankrupted a second time during Reconstruction. Jim Crow left the South desperately poor. The problem with communism, Nazism, slavery, serfdom and all other forms of exploitation is that they are destructive. There’s little or no wealth to take in reparation. So, you sue the capitalist states, not the slave state, because the capitalist states have wealth. And, you justify this by racism. Look, dey’s white.
Right now the Poles are embarrassing themselves demanding reparations of Germany for WWII. Germany was completely destroyed during that war. All the wealth of Germany today is due to Germans since WWII. But, there are the stupid and greedy Poles saying, Look, dey’s Germans.
Now I’m going to add another thing to this thread. What does demanding reparations beyond what the other side can pay, get you? It gets you Adolph Hitler.
The French and their damn Treaty of Versailles drove the Germans to desperation and the Germans eventually found someone who would stand up for them. The English knew the consequences of the Treaty would be catastrophic, but went along with the French. We, at least our Senate, rejected that vindictive and hateful Treaty. Something we Americans should be proud of.
How should you treat those you defeat? The way Grant treated Lee, and we treated Germany (the western part) and Japan. You don’t blame other people because of their race or nationality. You say, there but for the grace of God go I. But, we are no longer a Christian nation. We’re a nation of hate and selfishness.
