3 to one earlier today... then six to one... now 10 to one! How does an empire four times more populous than the one it invades inflict ten times more casualties and not easily win the war within days? Russia’s ENTIRE invasion force was depleted... so that means Ukraine’s defense forces would have been depleted 40 times over!

Are you denying the numbers off the top of your head with rhetoric?

Back up what your saying with some evidences, links, sources.

Kthx.

What are you smoking? On its best days uKraine was losing 6 per 1 Russian casualty. It is 20-10 to 1 since April.

You're asking the right and obvious question, and the answer should now be apparent. Russia is doing exactly what Putin promised at the outset:
- to demilitarize Ukraine;
- to denazify the Kiev government; and
- to secure Ukraine's Russian populations.

While we Americans have focused on maps of conquered territories, Russia has waged a brutal war of attrition much like our naval war against Japan in the Pacific. We didn't plant flags in the waves, but destroyed the Japanese fleet wherever we could lure them into battles shaped to our own favorable conditions. Russia's immediate goal is not taking or holding territory, but killing as many Ukrainian soldiers and destroying as much Ukrainian military capability as possible in order to demilitarize Ukraine. In the process, Russia is also demilitarizing and bankrupting NATO countries who have donated much of their own weapons - including aircraft, tanks and artillery - and ammunition stockpiles and money to be burned in Ukraine.

Here is a rule of thumb to help Americans understand the difference between how American and Russians fight:
- Americans use artillery to support maneuver, while
- Russians use maneuver to support artillery.
Artillery is the King of Battle, and chews up entrenched infantry and even armored forces with horrifying effectiveness. The Russian army is "artillery heavy" compared to much lighter Western armies, and patiently grinds its enemies before sending its own armor and infantry to occupy more territory. And the Russian army will cede territory temporarily to lure its enemies into artillery fire bags (called "cauldrons" by Russians). Most dead Ukrainian soldiers were killed by artillery before they ever got close enough to even see a Russian soldier. Think about that.

Time and tide are on Russia's side in Ukraine.
