The Dems beat the ‘it’s outlawed everywhere, even for ectopic pregnancies, or rape, human trafficking and incest unless you file a police report, relatives can sue you, morning after/Plan B pills are illegal, oh nooo’s!’ hysteria drum much louder. Our ‘calm down, people, it’s now up to individual states to have that conversation’ drum wasn’t heard. And the conversation about the drug, mental health, self-harm and suicide rate of those that obtain abortions never happened.
Republican messaging needed to make the conversation as much about showing concern for the mother’s life as about saving the baby’s life, but the liberals drown us out with their theatrics. Republican lawmakers blew the timing and lost the opportunity to change the narrative and it cost us at the polls.
