At the end they got zilch from Qatar.
What they got was a 15-year contract to supply LNG (to the Hamburg port). When you look at the numbers...compared against what Russia provided yearly....Qatar is making up 10-percent of the loss. That’s it.
The other 90-percent? It still lingers. Maybe the Norwegians can make up some of it....maybe the US will get a piece of the action. It’s not the winter of 2022 that they need to worry about....it’s everything after that point.
