This one from 2020 appeared to be an Earth First attack but not sure if that was confirmed.
Whoever is caught attacking these facilities needs to be executed, I don’t care if they are classified as left or right on the political spectrum.
Tie the perps to the substation after repairs and then turn on the juice. Tie them in a series to the input line of course, no use wasting extra wire. There will be a penalty for carbon release into the atmosphere as they become CO2 and plasma. It is worth the penalty.
In all seriousness if one looks at the history of attacks against our infrastructure it is always the left.
