Nice to see justice finally done, but what about the instigators of these false accusations against the Gibsons? I suppose the faculty and administrators still have their jobs and the students have either joined Antifa or the Biden Administration. Too bad they weren’t also hit in the law suit.

A long time ago in California they implemented the "deep pockets law". Regardless of who is at fault, the party with the biggest pockets will be forced to shoulder most, if not all, of the financial penalty.

If Ohio has similar laws, then the individuals involved escape any financial penalties.

In a fair world the individual percentages of burden would be determined and the penalties divvied up accordingly. But in that case the Gibsons might have only received half of the money and would be trying to squeeze the rest out of the students and faculty members for years to come.
