Georgia cements itself as a swing state after runoff

For years, Georgia has been a deep-red state. But after securing President Biden the White House in 2020 and electing two Democratic senators, a changing demographic shows the Peach State has become a critical battleground state.

Coming out of the 2020 election, Georgia was thought to be a red state trending blue. But the recent reelection of Sen. Raphael Warnock (D), despite Republican Gov. Brian Kemp’s victory at the top of the ticket, underscores the extent to which the state has become unpredictable.

I don't believe Republicans have a path to the White House without Georgia.

Every state is a “swing state” until the voter rolls are purged to minimize the impact of cheating.

Republicans can win Georgia. Don’t have low IQ candidates with numerous bastards as the nominee.

Cheating??? There certainly isn't any cheating going on in our elections, is there?

Swing state, just because they have a Republican governor? 2 liberal US senators means they are just like Maryland now.

Quality of candidates is the determining factor. In the last two Georgia elections the winner was better than their opponents. When a state is evenly matched that is evident.

You have hit the nail on the head. Walker was a poor candidate if you do not see that you are a fool.

“Walker was a poor candidate if you do not see that you are a fool.”

That’s what the Democrats tell me.

Then they run an actual retard and a dementia candidate and they both win.

Hmmmmmmmmm

2020 was lost after 400,000 Trump voters failed to turn out.

When you say better, what do you mean? In Georgia, one was an American, the other was a communist. Are you saying the communist is better?

Too many here think every loss is cheating. There is voter fraud, but not addressing all of the truth will lead to the same outcomes.
Walker and Oz we’re not good candidates.

Az and ga are blue states now thanks to migration. There is no going back. Governors who invite business interest end up losing their states. The south will fall in time because of it being cheaper and lower taxes, thus inviting invasion.

I don’t believe Republicans have a path to the White House without Georgia.

Georgia became a swing state in 2020 and for those of us, down here, that are paying attention, it will only get worse as the current Governor and his cronies continue to invite and give away the state to the Left with all the tax breaks and incentives.

Georgia gives $1,500,000,000 to the movie industry and has no unions. California just upped its ante, offering $300,000,000. And, outside of the liberal, hipsters that live in and around Atlanta, nary a few want the industry here. But, we don’t matter.

Michigan, Pennsylvania and Arizona are NO LONGER swing states, as they are 100% controlled by Democrats even though they have very sizable Republican populations. But with Philly doing what it does and Detroit & Flint doing what they do, it doesn’t matter anymore.

From an article I read, the Democrats already have 260(?) Electoral College votes in the bag....I can’t find it now.

Is GA really a swing state?

Consider:

Kemp handily defeated an unlikeable Abrams.

warlock defeated a former UGA football star whose personal life killed his chances. and warlock's team buried him with that.

dumbosoff defeated perdue.

In those two sinate races libertarian candidates were on both initial ballots possibly depriving Perdue a win and maybe Walker....maybe.

The stupid libertarian party needs to stop putting up hopeless candidates in GA.

What we need to do is to put up hopeless Green party candidates in GA to in part siphon away the liberal vote.

The voting machines in Atlanta have monkeypox. If you don’t see that, you are a fool.

Both statements can be true, by the way. The candidate competes against the cheating. If he’s good enough, he can make cheating difficult.

Trump was pretty good, though. No one has matched his rallies. It’s not enough in Atlanta, though.
