“But I fear we might be seeing a political death by a thousand cuts here.”

He really has been off his game since he handed everything over to President Fauci in 2020.

Is it possible that of all people, Trump himself has TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome)? That is to say, he has become unhinged by recent political losses, rejection by peers and celebrities, and loss of loyalty, and has therefore abandoned even what little introspection and self-control he had, to become a full-fledged loose torpedo.

What this tells me is Trump still, after all this time, does not understand politics.

“He meant ISRAELI leaders, but that’s not what it sounds like.”

Here’s the last paragraph:
“The former president has previously made comments similar to Friday’s post, criticizing American Jews for failing to recognize his claims of support for Israel.”

So it wasn’t just Netanyahu he was referring to, he’s mad that many Jewish leaders have gone in on him after that Kanye/Fuentes meeting, and insinuating he was anti-semitic for meeting with them. He’s basically saying how can anyone think I’m anti-semitic after all I’ve done for Israel.

“How quickly Jewish Leaders forgot that I was the best, by far, President for Israel,” Trump said. I support Trump 100%. The people hate Trump simply because Trump does not put Israel first in his American policies.

At least our enemies come at Trump with ingrained hatred, philosophical opposition and the power of every branch of the government. Soy boy freepers come at Trump with petty, childish, personalized, non-sequitor, holier-than-thou cabal-laced rethoric. It’s pathetic, maddening and a little enjoyable.

What it tells me is that he has become unhinged from the stunning theft of a presidency. After fighting, virtually single handily, for 4 years against a ruthless enemy he had the much deserved victory stolen from him. Im sure he noticed how the votes all of a sudden began being swindled from him beginning at around 2AM. How no one cared at the court level. He was stunned, obviously it knocked him off his game leading up to the ill advised rally on the 6th. Since then he has been like a man possessed and worse the jackels continue to nip at his heals to set the tone the deep state will never allow anyone from the outside to try to do it again. Did he make errors, sure no one is right every time but compared to what is going on now, he was a paragon of governorship.

Open mouth insert foot...again. This exactly what has and will continue to turn people off from supporting trump for re-election or even voting for him. He needs to focus on today and what he proposes to do if he is re-elected. Not this constant attack people bullsh**...

People need to stop twisting themselves into pretzels trying to defend the guy...he’s becoming his own worst enemy. And he is not making it easy for those of us out here trying to get Republican candidates elected. People see trump as the face of the party and they are not impressed or they are totally turned off by his comments and actions.

You ask a fair question...And "no" is the answer. But it still hurts.

“The more they hate and subvert him, the more I realize they fear him most”

You’re right about that. But the ironic thing is that his actual behavior while in office gave them little cause for dissatisfaction. He catered to all of them - Ryan, McConnell, Lindsey , etc etc.

Maybe they simply fear the power of his rhetoric, even if he didn’t do much to put actions behind his talk.

He was the only politician to tell the American people we should stop subsidizing the world and start tending to America’s problems.

The establishment REALLY doesn’t want the American people to hear that kind of talk, because people might start to question why we need to be obsessed with, say, Ukraine, when our own cities are awash in homelessness and weekend firefights with body counts rivalling some foreign wars

Also, people might start asking whether they really should be paying such high taxes - and therefore spending less on their families - so that Washington can spend money on foreign countries and foreign conflicts.

Trump got people thinking such thoughts - and that made him extremely dangerous to the Establishment, even if Trump in office hired Bolton and a whole cast of the Establishment. Those hires couldn’t absolve him of the sin of questioning Establishment Imperialism (or “globalism” , to use the everyday term)

Every last FReeper throughout the years pissed and moaned about lying politicians and how you couldn’t get a straight, transparent answer out of them.
Now we hear a politician who tells them as he sees them and the FRrats go scurrying back into the shadows while bleating, “why doesn’t he just keep his mouth shut!”

Oh, you mean like all those other politicians you pretend to hate?
