Arizona Sen. KYRSTEN SINEMA is changing her party affiliation to independent, delivering a jolt to Democrats’ narrow majority and Washington along with it.
“In a 45-minute interview, the first-term senator told POLITICO that she will not caucus with Republicans and suggested that she intends to vote the same way she has for four years in the Senate. ‘Nothing will change about my values or my behavior,’ she said.
“Provided that Sinema sticks to that vow, Democrats will still have a workable Senate majority in the next Congress, though it will not exactly be the neat and tidy 51 seats they assumed. They’re expected to also have the votes to control Senate committees. And Sinema’s move means Sen. JOE MANCHIN (D-W.Va.) — a pivotal swing vote in the 50-50 chamber the past two years — will hold onto some but not all of his outsized influence in the Democratic caucus.”

It could be she knows they stole the elections in AZ. and she has had ENOUGH!! Yes she is a Dem HOWEVER some peop,e do have some morals!!!
Who cares if she still votes 97% with the democrats.
Smart move on her part. Gives her more clout than Machin. She always has the threat to caucus with Republicans if she doesn’t get her way.

I had a suspicion that Joe Mancin would be doing something after this election to recover come out of the political toilet he put himself in supporting Biden earlier this year.
She’s a decent looking gal, not a stunner, but attractive. For some reason though, I REALLY like her pair of chacha-pingas.
I would give her lots of things — both on and off the record (I heard she goes both ways!)
If Manchin would switch to Republican, this would have more effect.
The Democrats have a new enemy to trash, just like they trash Musk. You can’t trust Democrats. They’re relentless.
Doesn’t change the Senate because she’ll caucus with the Dems. If Mancin goes independent and caucuses with Reps then it would help.. doubtful.
Amazed that people on our side still fall for this bogus stuff. She is just lining herself up to play the Manchin role in a state which just (in reality) elected Lake and Masters.
She will be a faithful voter for hating and destroying America, but she will do it playing a different Kabuki role, like Manchin.

He will be 77 years old come the 2024 election. Its possible he doesn’t run again. But if there is a decent Redumblican candidate to be had in WV to run against him they should declare now and go scored earth from day one against him. This is a must flip seat.
