“They’re desperate to hide it all. Congress is not the sovereign.”

Well actually I have been complaining about it for 50 years. Technically they are... D.C. is a “territory” and they can rule over us without accountability because technically they do have sovereign immunity. And they are not bound by the own laws they pass. The the laws they pass are concerning the “UNITED STATES”. Which they are no actually part of because they are only a “territory” of the United States.

In my personal opinion, they have no more right to make law for the United states than Puerto Rico or Guam does as territories. Territories are not bound to Constitutional accountability.

DC is not actually a territory. It is the one and only federal district. As such, congress has complete control, by the constitution and the District of Columbia Organic Act of 1801, which codifies that in federal law.
