Yes, the media has two fists on the scales to tilt elections, but Trump has so many self-inflicted wounds it's gotten ridiculous. We have enough to overcome when it comes to media and Deep State manipulations, we can't afford a self-marginalizing candidate.
You realize the POINT was this is a new poll, not several weeks old, etc.
And please note those polls you like to use to make you feel good include other (minor) candidates - it is not head-to-head like this. Give most of those minors to DeSantis, and Trump isn’t looking so stable.

I have said this many times in the past, and it bears repeating.
If the RINOs are successful at forcing Trump out of the 2024 republican primaries by using Desantis, then SURPRISE SURPRISE, Dezantis will NOT be the republican nominee because the RINOs will steal the nomination from him, guaranteed.
It is the RINOs who are pushing Desantis as an alternative to Trump, telling people that Trump is too ‘toxic’ to run again.
It’s all nonsense, Trump is only toxic to RINOs.
Personally, I like Governor Desantis, but he doesn’t have the name recognition or money to challenge the DC Swamp. They will eat him alive.
The RINOs do not want Desantis for president anymore than they want Trump, but they know that they cannot steal the nomination from Trump, and they are absolutely positive that they can steal it from Desantis. He won’t even see it coming. They did this to Patrick Buchanan in 1996. He did see it coming but he also knew that he couldn’t stop them. Trump can, Desantis can’t. It really is that simple.
DeSantis has done a fine job of swamp cleaning in his state. He can get it done.
One state is not the whoe country. It is much harder to clean the swamp that is all of America. \
I doubt DeSantis can get that all done as you make it sound so easy. That is ridiculous.

I don’t know. I do know that it’s way too early. I have no idea how many voters are still with Trump. I like the idea of having 16 candidates. Makes Trump stronger if he makes it but regardless it’s way too early.
I am under no illusion that it’s easy. I also don’t believe any one man can accomplish it. I’m not fully in any one person’s corner. It’s too early. I was skeptical of things DeSantis said he could do and then with little to no fanfare he did them. I think he could accomplish a good dent without having his lunch taken and then beaten with it.
