Could some lawyer explain the legality of this?

I'm not a lawyer, but I thought Congress held the purse-strings.

I don't think the President can spend money that wasn't allocated by Congress.

I think that in this day, in this country the government just does whatever, and cracks down on the citizen.

It was allocated by Congress, in the two trillion dollar slush fund they voted for to “deal with Covid”.

I feel like all those folks saying that the ship has sailed when I point out there is no enumerated power for the congress to even spend money on stuff like this.

With Arbitrary government there are no rules.

That was true until DJT was deposed.

Since the Constitution no longer applies and ‘justice’ only goes one way, like the brides our Glorious Leaders are fond of accepting, they can do what they want and the piss-ons can point and shout, as they are taxed and worked to death.
