group of 1,200 university students in Iran were struck down by food poisoning the night before a wave of anti-regime protests were set to be held throughout the country.
Students at Kharazmi and Ark universities experienced vomiting, severe body aches, and hallucinations, the national student union claimed Thursday.
At least four other universities reported similar outbreaks.

Now the mullahs are drugging their own students. Meanwhile, the Administration’s mouth is closed by people who support the mullahs.
The mullahs wanted to show the students wanting to live like an open Western society, that this is what happens when you eat non-halal food.

Sounds more like “poisoned food” than “food poisoning”...
Reminds me of the story about a wise conservative entrepreneur purchasing a lot of tickets for some liberal arts event held in some enclosed theatre, and offered them for free to interested parties just prior to the event. He also offered free lunch as an incentive, where he serve up all you can eat portions of polish dogs and BAKED BEANS.
I’ll bet that theatre reaked of liberal excrement for days to come.

Those folks have got to be more careful about food handling.😉
Honestly, they should have taken violent action against their government oppressors earlier. They could have at least practiced sabotage. Unorganized students are difficult to track. Each could be like a skilled serial killer without signatures left behind.
Too late now. RIP.
