In Bob Iger’s world he can afford private security... men who carry guys. In his world he lives in a safe gated community - a place where everyone entering is checked. And if cops are called it take them four minutes to get to him - not twenty.
So outlaw private security from carrying guys, outlaw gated communities, spread out the homeless and drug addicts so Iger’s neighborhood gets it’s fair share - then don’t allow cops to respond to a crime faster for the ‘better’ neighborhood.
Then tell Iger to TELL HIS NEIGHBORS THEY CAN’T PROTECT THEMSELVES. That would be so deserving for the jerk.
If Iger wants to do something useful he should come up with a Disney lite section of the park: older rides - down scale food in picnic baskets and charge $10 a person to get in.
That way families that make less than $100,000 a year could take their kids to ‘Disney’... Put the Splash Mountain Ride there - paint over the art work with blue paint and let it be the anchor ride... Picnic tables would be nice.
I doubt many of the kids at Sandyhook could afford to go to Disney. And out of five random schools in Detroit - probably zero kids could afford Disney. So open it up Iger.
Building Disney and making children happy is probably beneath Disney CEO Bob Iger - not as much fun as disarming people who are afraid criminals will hurt their families - but it’s certainly within the tradition of Walt Disney
