Lots of libgressives in country music. I dont get it.
I don't get where and why that all came about either. I get the new pretty boy metro-country artists who are more pop.
I so miss Willie and Waylon and Buck Owens, and my favorite Dwight Yoakam.
I read an interview with Dwight and Piers Morgan. Dwight said, ""Guns are very serious instruments of survival and defense, but they're weapons. They're dangerous weapons and you've got to be very cautious with them, around them, about them..."
Dwight went on to say after Piers pushed him about AR15 rifles, "Dwight said, ""I don't know if I can give you an answer that will satisfy your sense of sane logic...I don't trust the government...I think we're worried about tyranny from here."
Dwight Yoakum...the coolest on stage performer since Elvis. To bad he went into movies, he had a lot of songs left in him. Guitars, Cadillacs. Turn it on, turn it up, turn me loose. A Thousand Mile From Nowhere. Ain't that Lonely Yet. And various great covers of Elvis, Suspicious Minds, Little Sister. And of course the huge hit Fast as You.
