I think they do. To them, there’s no consideration for any dire consequence. It’s just a blood sport to them, “winning” is the only thing they see. They are blinded by their thirst for scalps, without realizing just how seriously we take it.

Anyone that can’t see that this is a 4A violation and is just “keep investigating until we can ‘claim’ foul, arrest, and _automatically_ convict” is a complete fool...which they are. They don’t seem to see that is what they’re doing.
