Interestingly, the black churches are main power players down here. Same as any other black city.
However, the gentrification taking place in Atlanta is running their parishioners out. So much so, that the new mayor is trying to figure out a way to keep blacks from moving out, while at the same time raising taxes to a point where they’re forced to sell.
As for Tenn, just look at what had happened to Nashville and what is happening to Chattanooga and Knoxville.
Hell, look at Greenville, SC. Once a Republican stronghold. BMW moved to Greer. Tech companies followed. City is run by democrats.
