Eggman was out in 1989 but seems like yesterday. They say people hold onto the memories of the songs when they were 17-18 or so. A kid born in 1972 for the Superfly songs like Freddie’s Dead would have been just right for Eggman.

At my age nobody remembers the old time music stars of my youth the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, the Who, Jimi Hendrix, Creem, the Doors, Jefferson Airplane or the Kinks. I spent as much as $5 or even $15-20 to see them in person. Worth it, though.

You were graduating when I was a Freshman. Close enough in musical and movie timelines.

Just in case you get any ideas, if society devolves into anarchy I have already called Lord Humungus as my title.

In addition to the music of my own generation, I had a great catalog of LPs, 45s & even 78s of my parents’ and grandparent’s to listen to as a youth.
