I don't know anything about Gov. Ricketts. But I suspect that if he gets federal senate that he will help to pass unconstitutional spending bills in the name of winning funding for his state like they all do.

Actually Pete Ricketts has been a pretty good Governor in my view and I am a big time conservative. Nebraska also has a balanced budget law. Can’t spend what you don’t have. Our property taxes suck though and Ricketts has worked tirelessly to change that.
