I’m sure this has all been hashed out, but why the freakout over Trump’s rather obvious observation that the Constitution does not have a mechanism for reversing a fraudulent and fraudulently certified election.
The left is reductive regarding everything but their worldview. Even then they are similarly reductive, just less vehemently so.
Trump has now, based on susequent comments, removed all doubt about his support for the Constitution and his opposing termination of its rules/regulations/articles.
Subsequently on Dec3, Trump posted the "unprecedented cure" comment. I am eagerly awaiting his specific comments on that topic.
The same as he never said to drink bleach during the pandemic, he never said to toss out The Constitution. It is plain as day. He’s said, nobody can deny there was fraud here that affected the outcome of the election, and he is asking—not demanding— what’s to be done about it? Hold a new election, or declare the rightful winner?
The opening few words are about the massive, widespread fraud and deception...and he later says it allows for the pitching of every aspect of rule of law... implicit is: if we as a country allow this to stand, and/or happen again.
I am thoroughly disgusted that even Fox has been engaging in the lie about this tweet. All of these news outlets think the readers/viewers are too stupid to believe their own eyes. It’s right out of Orwell, and it’s truly frightening.
It’s not as if the Left isn’t whittling down the Constitution on a daily basis. Pure and simple “death by a thousand cuts”.
Mr. Mataz,
Trump needs to have someone read his posts before hitting the send button.
Lazy statesmanship is not good statesmanship, and it easily voids “good intentions” as it shows just plain sloppy (ill considered) communication. As such slopppy thinking (not thinking enough before speaking) moves from domestic to an international stage, grave miscalculations can result.
Trump needs to clean up his communications, and soon. That is not about his “intentions” but is seriously about his poor ability to communicate real well his real intentions.
Trump has a pattern of issuing “easily misinterpreted” statements that dig Grand Canyon-sized holes for himself. He has to know that the media will jump on the worst explanation and crucify him. So why does he do it? Does he engage in this because:
1) as a confident patriarch, Trump says what he wants, rather than reciting carefully parsed lawyer-speak like a weaseling Clinton; most Trump supporters like this and those who don’t can go F themselves;
2) it’s part of a communications strategy with some greater benefit (e.g., fooling leftists into spreading news the left would otherwise censor, like the fact that the FBI and other Democrats in government manipulate social media to subvert elections and free speech rights); or,
3) Trump has a psychological need to struggle against impossible odds — the most impossible and perfect odds ever.
Laz,
I have been on a personal screed maybe here but amongst my friends let Melania proof read etc before you hit send.
Better yet, the most politically articulate of the Trump family IMHO is Lara Trump, Eric's wife. I like the cut of her jib as a communicator.
I prefer Lara over Melania to do it.
Just my two cents...
Amen brother~!
One more charge up that hill:
If you need to interpret his words, there is a problem.
I put it this way - the democRATS and RINOs have shredded the constitution. They leave the border unprotected. They send the FBI/DOJ/IRS/EPA/whoever after anybody that doesn’t agree with them and toe the line, they declare patriots as terrorists, they steal elections and refuse to even look at the enormous heap of evidence for 2020, let alone 2022.
They are not beholden to the American people any more, and thus are not our government.
Well said.
Because Trump’s words were under seige, his actions went unnoticed by the left...and the voters. If he had focused on his actions, the left would have opposed them. It’s like a qb who looks left and throwe right.
But we need to be better at educating the average voter. Ds-information is in the name American Rescue Plan as it only rescued gov bureaucrts and caused inflation. we should dedicate the next two years, not to name calling, but to communicating effectively with the average voter.

Agreed.
Trump is gonna Trump.
It Is what it is.
One either gets Trump Or
One ‘Wants to GET Trump!’
Truth be told we are no longer in a Democratic Republic, but a Communist/Fascist Dictatorship.
President Trump needs to say what he means and mean what he says.
What he wrote was not clear, or else there would not be the disagreement there is between people on FR.
