Supreme Court won’t hear case brought by a group of voters against Dominion Voting Systems and Facebook

The Supreme Court declined on Monday to take up a case brought against Dominion Voting Systems and Facebook after the 2020 election by a group of voters who claimed the companies illegally “influenced or interfered with” the contest.

Lower courts had previously rejected the case, ruling that the eight voters lacked the procedural threshold – known as standing – needed to bring the suit against parties including the Center for Tech and Civic Life, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan.

“The court’s refusal to take up this case is no surprise; the lower courts threw it out because the plaintiffs didn’t have standing, and, even if they did, their claims are frivolous,” said Steve Vladeck, CNN Supreme Court analyst and professor at the University of Texas School of Law.

“The fact that no justice even asked Dominion or the other defendants to respond to the petition says everything that needs to be said about how seriously they took this appeal – which is to say, not at all,” Vladeck added.

...

The voters claimed that the company, along with the other named parties, “engaged in concerted action to interfere with the 2020 presidential election through a coordinated effort to, among other things, change voting laws without legislative approval, use unreliable voting machines, alter votes through an illegitimate adjudication process” and “privately fund only certain municipalities and counties.”

A federal judge in Colorado dismissed the case last year, saying the group of voters “allege no particularized injury traceable to the conduct of Defendants, other than their general interest in seeing elections conducted fairly and their votes fairly counted.”

“When the alleged injury is undifferentiated and common to all members of the public or a large group, courts routinely dismiss such cases as ‘generalized grievances’ that cannot support standing,”

Am I correct in assuming, they got away with it?

Only for now.

I will be honest with you Labyrinthos, no, I don’t understand it. I wish to understand it. I suppose I’m frustrated that it appears the idea of reducing voter fraud - I’m talking about high scale fraud involving millions of votes - never seems to get taken seriously.

What Mr. Vladeck, CNN, and John Roberts et al DON’T understand, or choose to ignore, is that about 80 million people don’t believe a damn thing that a LIBERAL attorney OR CNN says! NOT ONE THING!! They’ve earned ZERO credibility.

The judicial legacy for the 21st Century will be that in the most important matter of the Century cowardly lawyers and judges hid under their desks and failed America.

There exists no right without a concomitant chance of redress for the violation of that right.

It is impossible to believe the Founders envisions a Republic which could not prevent its own demise through access to the courts.

Our rights come from God, but our redress, apparently, comes only after death.

Not only will Walker loose tomorrow we will never again see the Republicans win all three chambers.

Oh, BS.

Walker will lose tomorrow but not because of fraud but because he's a lousy candidate. And he was a lousy candidate the moment he won the nomination. Go look at the primary threads. There were plenty of FReepers shaking their heads in futility at the primary wins of Walker, Oz, Masters, Mastriano, and so many others who went on to defeat.

The GOP was strong in California. It was strong in New York. It was an absolute juggernaut in Florida!

Stop getting suckered in to backing losers and we might win something again!

Make sure your family is strong and support systems are delineated. This looks like the “4th turning” and probably by 2028 we will not recognize our country.

Happens and has happened before, we are no different than any other empire. However, families survived, people lived and even prospered, but there is a great upheaval coming and unless your family is prepared by work ethic, religious or cultural framework, ability to read, write and do math, as well as defend themselves with any tool available, you and your family will disappear.

I must admit that the thought of the intellectuals in DC, NYC and the other liberal meccas trying to manage the complete breakdown of economic structure, disappearance of rule of law and the non-participation of the social contract by the mass of individuals in our country makes me laugh.

When the soap box fails, the ballot box fails, and the jury box also fails, there’s only one box left.

That's not true. In Americas there many boxes, all filled with things to distract from the coming totalitarian dystopia - there's the pizza box, donut box, fast food box, the box the shiny new "smart" phone comes in and the nice, big box the new, propaganda and filth-spewing widescreen comes in! And that's just to name a few. . .

You missed 1 of 2 steps.

They take our guns
OR
We use our guns and end this insanity

That’s pretty much the only thing left. Voting clearly isn’t working because it’s broken and no one who can wants to fix it.

Nobody knows if Dominion helped the commie RATS steal the electoon or not.

You can't prove that nobody knows it. Nobody can prove it, it seems, right now. If it was done, some people know it.

Maybe they used Twitter. Let's wait and see. Or if the weather gets too hot, somebody might squeal.

> “Am I correct in assuming, they got away with it?”

In this case, yes. And SCOTUS is part and parcel to relegating American voters to the back of the bus.

SCOTUS at a minimum should review the evidence and kick it to lower courts with an order to fix it by a deadline date.

I don’t give a damn about the sophistry of their legal agents who cover for the underlying crime syndicate. The biggest crime in American history took place on November 3, 2020 and courts and their agents have effectively stood around with their thumbs up their butts.

SCOTUS risked their safety in overturning Roe, but that was constitutionally easy, Roe wasn’t in the Constitution.

But in the theft of November 2020, there is complexity, and justices and their clerks, staffers, academics, and consultants can’t be bothered to crack down on courts who ignore election rigging and theft. The survival of the Republic is too much for them to be bothered with.

I don’t give a damn about their law school idiocy and arguments of standing, jurisdictional difficulties, SCOTUS needs to accept Plaintiff Appellant claims as bedrock and work backwards to lower courts. If that means work until 2 am, nap on a cot and back at it by 7 am, so be it. This is internal warfare going on and requires roughing it to get momentum in the judiciary to right the ship.

They can do it, they just don’t want to, can’t be bothered to step away from their aristocratic lifestyles to save their country.

Look what happened with the judiciary in Brazil under near identical circumstances, autocratic actions, tyranny. Now the Brazilian Military is stepping in to right their ship, but we don’t have that here and we shouldn’t want it here because it can go the opposite way.

The Brazilian judiciary is an instrument of the Cartel Marxists.

And that is what SCOTUS has allowed the lower courts to become, instruments for Marxists operating on American soil, making them accomplices to the takedown.

The case that cowardly justices will hear and puff their chests up with their noses in the air, or more accurately allow their fraternal tradition of lawyerspeak that goes round and round with “logic”, “grand arguments”, lofty weighing and such rot, is Missouri et al v. Biden Collusion with tech pukes to suppress free speech, which should dovetail in with current revelations by Musk’s Twitter, and Facebook and others, of Biden cierced election interference. That will give courts and SCOTUS gum to blow bubbles while wearing suits and looking orderly.

Meanwhile, not a damm thing is being done to reform American elections in preparation for the nation going Maricopa in 2024.

Dominion being an issue in the elections is pretty far fetched. You have the actual counters and commies in the counties handling the process. Any process that is not auditable is on its face, fraudulent. all elections are fraudulent.

I’d sure love to see somebody with ‘nads come forward and spill the crap on the RATS. I don’t think it will ever happen though. RATS don’t squeal on other RATS. Neither to Cheney’s GOOBers.

You know the rat 🐀 bastards will try a 2024 Maricopa, and the bad thing is, they might get away with it again.

The states are free to conduct their elections as they see fit. If they are willing to use fraudulent election machines or processes, Supreme Court can’t stop them. Only voters, citizens of those states, can do it. If the majority of us want it, we can also have a federal law defining electoral process. Has to be approved by Congress, signed by the sitting President and able to withstand legal challenges all the way to the Supreme Court. Let’s stop blaming Supreme Court for what they can’t do.

You are correct. And we actually don’t want the SC to take cases worded like that. Think about the can of worms it would open...

In other words. No one can ever challenge an election unless the deep state allows it.

Somebody has to have standing, and the courts need to say who, exactly, that is. Because if they claim no one does, then the courts need to be disbanded as useless.
