Reminds me of a friend who grew up in Soviet Russia; in school, they were taught that Lenin was “the Great Humanitarian”. When she was 17, and no longer at risk of talking in school, they quietly took her aside and told her the truth about communist history, including that Lenin was a murderous, evil bum.
